Gloria Constanza’s Recommendation
Gloria Constanza, Partner and Chief Contact Strategist at Esposito & Partners, looks forward to touring NYC. “I spent Thanksgiving in France – which I loved – but NYC has so many museums and other tourist attractions that I have not visited in a very long time. However, I recommend that those planning to go to Europe, especially France, consider visiting Strasbourg. It is a beautiful city in France with the most talked-about Christmas Market decorations and perhaps the most beautiful Christmas tree – dare I say, even nicer than our renowned Rockefeller Center Tree. Even more important is Strasbourg’s fascinating history. In case you don’t know, Strasbourg changed ownership three times in its history – initially owned by Germany, then by France, then overtaken by Germany again, and last, it was won by France during World War II. The other big plus for Strasbourg is that it is just minutes away from Germany and Switzerland, allowing the opportunity to visit the Black Forest area of Germany and Basel in Switzerland. Since I’m staying home, I also plan to indulge myself by watching some holiday movies. Last year, I did not watch any, as I went away on vacation to London and Italy.”
