Thompson’s well-rounded executive leadership experience spans across an array of specialties including marketing, management, project development, operations, training, and sales forecasting, in a variety of industries, such as, luxury fashion, real estate andpublic institutions.
      An active speaker at events, Thompson has delivered keynote addresses, hosted executive roundtable discussions and has been asked to lead discussions at national and international marketing conferences on a variety of topics; his core focus being the evolution of brands, their role in influencing consumer behavior and the power of brands to change the world for the better.
      Thompson is a Co-founder of Ruiru Rising, a not-for-profit organization that funds higher education programs for at-risk youth in rural Kenya.       Mr. Arturo Duran became Chief Innovation Officer at Digital First Media, after transforming the Chief Digital Officer position that he had at the management company of the Media power houses MNG and Journal Register Co., where he has been leading the implementation of their Digital First strategy that is changing the way Newspaper companies distribute their content through the new Digital Platforms. He was part of the Team that took over The Journal Register Co. where the Digital First Strategy was created and executed. Before that, Arturo was until last April 2010, Chief Executive Officer of ImpreMedia Digital, LLC. Previously, Mr. Duran was President of Interactive and Business Integration for Canwest Mediaworks, led the growth of online revenue of that organization to a record level and converted it into the largest Canadian News and Information Network with more than 50 sites. Much of the revenue growth came from the launch of a suite of online Classifieds that quickly grew to the largest in Canada (working.com, driving.ca, remembering.ca, renting.ca etc). Mr. Duran has a long and distinguished career in the online field. He previously served in executive roles at AOL including those of Vice President, Multicultural, for AOL Media Networks, VP Marketing and Interactive Content for AOL Canada, and Director Business Development for AOL Mexico as member of the Team that launched AOL Latin America. Prior to those appointments, Mr. Duran was the Director of Business Development, Internet Division for the Polaroid Corporation. Prior to coming to live in the US, Arturo held Executive Positions at Unisys Corporation, Grupo Timon and Polaroid Mexico.Arturo is also Managing Director at the investment arm of DFM, Digital First Ventures.

      I started my career as Intern for Nike North American company in the city of Guadalajara. Through this project, the company opened area “Market Research” gradudada me one time. I was 2½ years as Consumer Insigth Coordinator reporting directly to the Director of Marketing for the company. After I got the opportunity to launch a new brand for Nike in Mexico, the share of casual clothing “Nike Sportswear. In this position he was responsible for designing the strategy of launching the brand in Mexico and coordinate all consumer experiences with this brand category. A year later addition to carrying category
      “Sportswear” also put me in the category of “Running” second largest category of the business. In late 2009, the company Estee Lauder Companies hired me as Product Manager for brands Tom Ford Estee Lauder and where I was in charge of generating strategies for product, price and distribution of new releases for brands. A year and a half, I was given the opportunity to take the position of Marketing Manager for these same brands, now under the supervision of the product areas, media and trade marketing. I spent two years in that position where among other things we position the brand Estee Lauder in a market of younger women through various digital strategies, social media and events at point of sale. In the same way we implemented a change in overall brand image, much more modern and close to the young consumer.
      In the month of February 2013, I was given the opportunity to move to the regional structure of the company, now as Regional Director Marcadotencia Latin American brands Estee Lauder, Tom Ford and adding the fragrance brand ADF in which are the Fragrances Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Michael Kors, among others. In this position I have aimed to align strategies Marketing, Trade Marketing, Digital and Prices of brands in more than 12 countries highlighting Mexico, Chile and Brazil.

As Vice President, Strategy, Jon led the strategy group responsible for developing integrated marketing communications for Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly-Clark, DuPont and Kellogg.
