Zubi Advertising announces the promotions of four media executives, effective immediately, under the new leadership of Isabella Sánchez, Vice President Media Integration.
Jany Borges, Vanessa Lizama and Claire Zaldivar have all been promoted to Associate Media Directors. Kathy Bonilla has been promoted to Buying Supervisor.
“All four of these media professionals are integral parts of the Zubi Media team and have contributed to client success and growth.” says Sánchez, “Their promotions are a testament to their leadership and dedication.”
Jany Borges has been with Zubi Advertising for four years. She currently supervises the JP Morgan Chase consumer and business banking account. Jany played a pivotal role in the retention of the account when Chase acquired WaMu in 2009. As one of the fastest growing accounts at Zubi, Jany and her team have developed successful media platforms that have exceeded expectations and shown tremendous ROI for Chase.
Vanessa Lizama, with Zubi for over 9 years, leads the Ford and Winn Dixie’s accounts. Under Vanessa’s leadership, Ford continues to be one of the pioneering brands in the US Hispanic market. Ford’s “Sync” launch and recent Ford Fiesta campaign go beyond the traditional media platforms by targeting bilingual Hispanics and entering new digital approaches and branded entertainment. Winn Dixie, Zubi’s oldest account at the agency, continues its success with Hispanics in the Southeast. Vanessa manages the fast paced retail dynamics.
Claire Zaldivar has been with Zubi for over 13 years, and currently oversees American Airlines, Olive Garden and SC Johnson. Claire’s innovative approach has enabled clients to experiment with new media platforms, both in online and offline channels, with great results. Olive Garden’s“Cocinando Un Sueno”, SCJ’s “Right At Home” and American Airlines “Vida” programs are just a few examples of Claire’s ability to apply her Hispanic media knowledge to each client’s business objectives.
As Zubi Buying Supervisor, Kathy Bonilla will lead the newly formulated buying team across all accounts for Digital, Television, Radio, Print and OOH. In her 9 year tenure at Zubi, she has planned and bought across various accounts. Her Hispanic market expertise, superb negotiations skills and her passion for Hispanic media, will enable her to lead the group and deliver the best possible product for the clients.
Alberto Padron, Director of Integrated Media, continues to lead the direct marketing, experiential and digital media strategies for all clients. The integration of digital planning, buying and analytics delivers invaluable insights and ROI metrics across clients.
“The restructuring of our media department strengthens our service and product across all clients, and prepares us for 2011 and beyond.” says Sánchez.
“We are thrilled that Isabella has recognized the talent that lies within and developed a structure which allows the agency to remain competitive in the current media environment”, adds Joe Zubi, Chief Operating Officer.
