The Hispanic local search market changing at a fast speed. A major factor is the growth of mobile/smartphone adoption among the Hispanic population. This allows local search providers to include geolocation features in the users searches.. Another factor seems to be the local nature of most job/employment searches. YaSabe, a provider of local information for U.S. Hispanics, just announced the launch of YaSabe Empleos, a new local jobs board built especially for Latinos. The system is updated constantly from multiple sources allowing users to discover new job opportunities from employers looking to hire Spanish-speakers. The new service available at YaSabe.com also lets users post their resumes and sign up to receive notifications about new jobs that are posted in specified fields and locations. During the beta phase, U.S. employers interested in finding Spanish-speaking candidates can post job openings directly at YaSabe Empleo free-of-charge.
“Since our launch there have been a continuously increasing number of queries on YaSabe.com for ‘empleo' from people looking for jobs or employment agencies”, said Zubair Talib, President of YaSabe. “We are giving our users what they are asking for.”
