Verizon Wireless recently announced the latest move in its national expansion strategy with the launching of a new 6-by-9 inch telephone directory. The directory will feature a special food and drink guide, a menu pages, and a coupons section.

The company is touting its additional advertising options, such as complementing traditional print yellowpages advertising with internet advertising on Yellowpages.com. This allows advertisers to customize their programs throughout the year and implement promotional offers on the website.

In addition Verizon is offering a service called “Customer Call Tracker” which makes it possible for advertisers to track campaign effectiveness and compile data on sales generation. Verizon is also offering CPC advertising and Pay for Calls options to its Superpages.com advertisers.
