Aspect, a provider of customer contact and Microsoft platform solutions, announced today the closing on its acquisition of the Corsidian businesses in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Puerto Rico (together, “Corsidian”). The acquisition of Corsidian, a customer contact solutions provider in the Latin American region with approximately 100 employees, supports Aspect’s commitment to strategic growth in the region.
Growth projections for the region, as reported by market research firm Ovum, are predicted at a rate of 9-10 percent annually between now and 2015. Aspect’s expanded presence will allow the company to capitalize on developing market opportunities while delivering market-leading solutions that will help to streamline operations while helping its LATAM customers meet the needs of a new generation of social media-savvy, mobile consumers.
