Citing widespread demand for Hispanic call-center support, Etech global business process outsourcer has just opened a new location, based in Pasadena TX. “We work with a lot of Fortune 100 companies and they seem to be talking in unison when they say they need more Spanish-language and bilingual support. They see the U.S. Hispanic market as a key piece in their expansion strategies,” says Jim Iyoob, Etech's senior director of global development.
Etech, which offers sales and customer service support to its clients like AT&T and BellSouth, recently opened its Pasadena office. “Our Fortune 100 customers continue to seek call center partners who have access to bilingual skills within their labor markets. We feel that Pasadena will give us this talent,” said Matt Rocco, Etech’s COO.
Rocco also notes that the nighttime/Saturday positions that his company is looking to fill in its bilingual call center are a good fit for college students: “It has always been a priority of Etech to develop good relationships with the local colleges and universities. One benefit we offer to working students is tuition reimbursement.” stated Rocco. “Since 2002, Etech has paid its student employees over $500,000 in reimbursement for college tuition.”
