The Center for Hispanic Leadership, a venture founded by Cuban-American Author and Speaker Glenn Llopis to promote the training and development of Hispanic business leaders, today announced the hire of Annette Prieto for the position of Senior Executive Vice-President.
“Annette will be responsible for not only the day-to-day operation of the CHL, but will spearhead the creation of targeted terrestrial and online training,” stated Llopis. “Her mission will be to help us accelerate the relevancy of Hispanic leaders in enterprise. Her deep commitment to this cause, coupled with her extensive background in business sales and training, has more than convinced us that she is the right person for this job.”
Llopis continued, “We looked at hundreds of potential candidates. What perhaps impressed us most about Annette was her dedication to the issue of propelling Hispanic women in the work place. Though this is the fastest growing segment of Hispanic-owned business, they have been historically underrepresented and have had access to far too few resources to pursue education and business growth.”
