V-me and Sears are teaming up to present Honor Hispano, a week-long tribute to Hispanic-American military personnel.

Sponsored entirely by Sears, Honor Hispano includes exclusive primetime specials, original vignettes presenting stories of Latino soldiers and their families, and an invitation for viewers to visit www.VmeTV.com and send messages of support to current and past servicemen and women. The messages will appear in V-me's signature primetime interview program – Viva Voz con Jorge Gestoso.

As an offshoot to the initiative, Sears has a special Military Wish Registry available http://www.sears.com/wish this holiday season where military personnel and their families can register for needed items that others may then purchase for them (Unfortunately, one-way flights from Afghanistan and Iraq are not available through the registry).

“Last year we ran Honor Hispano for one month that had short vignettes and user-generated content,” Natalie Judd, a spokesperson for V-me tells Portada.

This is the first time that Sears has sponsored the initiative, however.
