Miami’s Zubi Advertising and multi-platform media giant Univision have just announced a deal reported to be worth nearly $80 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, Zubi will be able to advertise on Univision’s radio stations, its three networks (Univision, Galavision and Telefutura), its 60+ TV stations and the websites of these properties.
Zubi’s clients that stand to benefit from the deal include American Airlines, Ford Motor Company and SC Johnson, among others. The size of individual programs was not disclosed, although they were said to vary in size and duration.
The breadth of the agreement is indicative of a more holistic and integrated sales approach adopted by Univision’s CEO Joe Uva, who took the reins just last year, promising to break down barriers to a one-stop shop.
