Telemundo announced that it is re-grouping its digital assets under a newly created Digital Media and Emerging Businesses Division led by Peter Blacker as Executive Vice President Digital Media and Emerging Businesses. The announcement was made by Jacqueline Hernandez, Chief Operating Officer, Telemundo, whom Peter Blacker will report to.
The new division's mission is to fully leverage Telemundo and mun2's original programming through custom branded entertainment, digital and mobile cross-platform solutions.
In addition, it will house the network's digital and mobile properties including Yahoo! Telemundo,, International Digital Media and Telemundo Emerging Platforms, which also incorporates Mobile and Licensing and Merchandising efforts. Blacker will also partner and advise the local stations in helping to define, execute and implement Digital Media tactics and revenue driving strategies in our local markets. Telemundo currently streams over 9 million videos monthly, making it a leader within the NBCU family. The division will continue to tie in broadcast and online initiatives

Formerly the Senior Vice President, Digital Media, Telemundo Network Group, Blacker joined Telemundo three years ago and led the company into the digital media space.
