The Western Union Company has teamed up with Daddy Yankee to launch “Love in Any Language,” a national campaign designed to help consumers express their love to mothers, family, friends and loved ones.

Love in Any Language will enable consumers to create and upload their own original music video to express love to mothers, families, friends or loved ones. Once entrants have uploaded their entry, they are encouraged to tell their friends and family to go view their work and to vote. Public voting of the uploaded entries will determine 10 finalists. From the 10 finalists, final judging will be made for one grand prize winner. The grand prize winner will receive $10,000 and appear at the 2011 Billboard Latin Music Conference in Miami, Florida on April 27. The contest entry period runs from Monday, March 21 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on April 18, 2011. Love in Any Language also allows those who do not wish to enter to post a “shout out” just for fun.

López-Negrete said, “’Love in Any Language’ is a multi-faceted, integrated consumer campaign designed to encourage consumers to ‘Sing It, Shout It, Send It!’ and send the gift of cash.”

 

  • Gibson Guitar

Gibson Guitar announced a new website dedicated to Spanish-language fans. The company said that the new site "will help Spanish-speaking music fans connect in their native language with the Gibson family of brands and its array of famous instruments."

In addition, the site will be a one-stop resource for the latest in music news and features, events, exclusive interviews, music videos, guitar lessons and other information related to Gibson instruments and artists.

 

  • Yakult

Yakult U.S.A. Inc.'s latest television spot "What's Inside" is airing on network television in the company's six key markets and be accompanied by a re-launch of www.yakultusa.com, where consumers can find locations and events to sample the delicious probiotic drink for free.

The English and Spanish language versions are also viewable on YouTube. The new campaign aims to teach people that overall health and wellness begins inside and Yakult may help create a balanced digestive system.
