Virginia Pereira until recently head of Visa’s panregional account at OMD Miami left her position. OMD has not announced a replacement for Pereira yet. Virginia Pereira has taken a new position at MasterCard in Miami. MasterCard’s agency is UniversalMcCann. 

 

  • Guarana Antarctica – Brazil

Espalhe has been chosen by Ambev to handle the Guaraná Antarctica account in Brazil. The agency will in charge of branding the Guaraná account at social networks.

 

  • Burger King – Brazil

Ogilvy & Mather has launched a new TV spot for Burger King. The campaign presents the new Burger King´s product: Bourbon Whopper. The TV spot lasts 30 seconds and it´s based on the concept “Bourbonizar”, that means something like “magnifies the power of the hamburger”.

 

  • La Cardeuse – Argentina

Bonsai, the Argentinean agency founded by Ezequiel Braier and Ignacio Porto, has been appointed by La Cardeuse to manage its mattresses and box springs´products. Bonsai has already been working with brands like Zonajobs, Tregar, Paramedic and Argentina Ciudadana.

  • The Argentinean Advertising Council on Drugs – Argentina

The Argentinean Advertising Council on drugs has launched a new campaign aimed to promote life and freedom. ADN was in charge of the creative work that includes TV and radio spots, print and digital media. The campaign will be on air during February and March in Argentina.

 

  • RockCorps – Global

18 Feet & Rising has won the global advertising account for RockCorps, the initiative that offers rewards of gig tickets in return for time spent working for charities.

 

  • Guggenheim Bilbao Museum – Spain

Guggenheim Bilbao Museum has appointed McCann Erickson Spain to handle its national account. The agency will be responsible for the corporate communication and the three campaigns planned for this year.

 

  • Mango and ETS – Mexico

UM Mexico has been chosen by Mango and ETS to handle their products and services. UM will be in charge of the media planning.

 

  • L`Oreal – Chile

UM Chile has won L`Oreal digital account. The agency has won the account after a pitch with Digitaria, Fuciona and Publicis.

AB Inveb has chosen UM Argentina to manage the digital accounts for its beers. The agency will be in charge of Social Media, Data Analytics, Community Managing and SEM.
