Unum (UNM 23.93, -0.40, -1.64%) is targeting Hispanics with a collection of materials for Spanish-speaking customers. The company has released a new series of educational videos in Spanish to help customers learn about its employee benefits products and services.
"One quarter of Unum's customers have Spanish-speaking employees, and it is important for us to create a benefits education approach that is as relevant and effective as possible, especially for this expanding demographic group.", said Bilda Acuna, assistant vice president of Unum's Hispanic initiative.
For the new videos series, Unum hired MARCA, a Miami-based advertising agency company that specializes in Hispanic marketing. The series of 11 videos was produced in easy-to-understand terms without complex insurance jargon.
