Fibractol, a slimming treatment that is distributed over direct mail is looking to advertise to the Hispanic market primarily throgh magazines. Fibractol is now advertising in Quebe through a French direct mail piece, the advertisement has been translated to Spanish. Fibractol has a website in English, Spanish and French. Canadian agency Rocket Marketing Network is helping Fibractol in its marketing endeavors.

Fashion retailer Stein Mart is betting on increasing sales and profit by increasing marketing efforts targeting Hispanics.

Heineken in partnership with Remezcla will curate a culturally unique space created exclusively for the Latin music and art scenes in New York City. 

• PepsiCo contributes $50,000 to the NAHJ
PepsiCo announced a $50,000 contribution to the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) for scholarships and internships to support Latino students pursuing careers in communications, journalism and social media. The announcement was made during the NAHJ Annual Convention in Orlando, as part of La Promesa de PepsiCo, the company's Hispanic corporate initiative focused on helping build stronger Latino communities in the United States.
