  • IDT Corporation

Event / Experiential marketing agency Factory 360 has been tapped by IDT Corporation to be their lead agency for event marketing. The IDT initiative is a nationwide program aimed at promoting the IDT / Tigo branded phone top-up cards in top tier markets in California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, DC, Maryland, Virginia as well as the NY/NJ/CT area.

In addition to the account win, Factory 360 has hired Belkis Gunduz to lead the IDT account team in New York as well as field supervision. Belkis comes from GlobalHue where she spent the last 2 years working on Verizon Wireless' National Retail Merchandising & Collateral account.

  • Descuento Libre

Sensis was selected as agency of record (AOR) by Descuento Libre to completely rebrand and market the social buying website targeted to Hispanics and focused on Latino culture. Work provided by Sensis will include strategic planning, rebranding, marketing plan development and the launch of a digital-centric advertising campaign.

  • Ford

Ford is very likely to renew its agreement with AOL to produce the Tu Voz en Tu Vida website. During a webinar organized by Joe Kutchera late last year, David Rodriguez, Marketing Manager for the Ford and Lincoln-Mercury brand, said that he is looking forward to “continue our relationship with AOL's Tu Voz en Tu Vida in 2011.” The project is being carried out by AOL Latino and Ford’s Hispanic agency Zubi Advertising.

  • Taco Bell

Taco Bell is placing full page ads in national publications. A Spanish version of the print ad is being placed in Hoy (Chicago), La Opinion (Los Angeles) and El Diario La Prensa (New York). Taco Bell's Agency of Record for both markets is DFCB (in charge of creative and media buying done so far). Hispanic media buying and planning will be made by MEC.
