  • Coca Cola – Universal Studios

From May 5 through June 1, fans can enter the national sweepstakes at www.mispremioscocacola.com for the chance to meet Cristián de la Fuente and Jacqueline Bracamontes.. The winners will receive a trip to Universal Studios in Hollywood, California to meet two of their favorite stars, “With the Coca-Cola Telenovela Club now entering its fifth year, the program continues to find ways to better connect our loyal Coke drinkers and passionate novela fans with their favorite stars,” said Al Rondon, Senior Brand Manager, Hispanic Marketing, Coca-Cola North America.  

  • Rosetta Stone, Alma DDB  

Rosetta Stone Ltd. a leading provider of technology-based language-learning solutions has selected Alma DDB as an official agency of record for the development and national launch of its new U.S. Hispanic marketing campaigns. Alma DDB will be in charge of creative. Most of Rosetta Stone’s media is bought in-house. Rosetta Stone had worked with AlmaDDB on a small number of projects in the past and decided to consolidate the relationship. The new campaigns will start on early July.  

  • Ford Motor Company

With the launch of the Ford Focus, Ford Motor Company is placing an emphasis on Hispanic consumers across the nation.  In an advertising campaign built by Zubi Adverting, the Hispanic consumer will be able to discover that the Ford Focus is more than a car. According to Ivan Calle, creative director, the campaign focuses on creating an emotional connection and dynamic that not only expresses the spirit of the  The Focus launch, which includes solid marketing and advertising strategies, includes 15-second television commercials as well as radio spots.  

  • Wing

Advertising Agency Wing has added two new members to its media team. James Roberts as media supervisor and Jose Merino as media buyer.
Roberts, based out of San Francisco, and Merino, based out of Miami, will develop and implement media strategy for Wing clients including Reliant Energy, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Garick Corporation. Roberts will report to Wing’s Vice President of Communication Planning Enrique Dussan, and Merino reports to Roberts.

  • Kmart, Sierra Mist and State Farm to sponsor Univision’s Upcoming Webnovela.

Univision is expected to announce today that Kmart, Sierra Mist and State Farm will be incorporated into the storyline of No me Hallo (I Can’t find myself) a webnovela starring Angelica Vale that will premiere May 16 on Univision’s www.NovelasySeries.com and on Univision video apps for smartphones.

  • Kmart

A new Facebook page for Kmart calls Latina Smart, a social media platform created to celebrate and support the success and achievements of Latinas across to US.

  • Miller Coors

Rick Gomez has been named Vice president of Miller Coors effective July 13. Gomez will be responsible for overseeing the overall brand strategy and positioning for Coors Light and Coors Banquet.
Gomez comes to MillerCoors from Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo Inc., where he most recently served as vice president of marketing for waters, enhanced waters and juices. In the role, he managed the marketing mix for brands such as Propel, Sobe, Aquafina, Dole, Ocean Spray and Tropicana.
He previously served in a number of executive leadership roles with PepsiCo, including chief marketing officer of PepsiCo Food Service and chief marketing officer of Tropicana Beverages. Gomez began his career at Quaker Oats, where he held a variety of marketing leadership roles.
