Western Union has selected local advertising agency Bromley Communications LLC to manage all of the company’s U.S. Hispanic marketing.
Under the terms of this contract, Bromley will provide media planning and buying, account management and creative development for the U.S. Hispanic consumer market.
Heineken is preparing efforts for a campaign aimed at Hispanic consumers to be created by the Vidal Partnership in New York. The campaign is aimed at beer drinkers who have been watching their spending drop since the recession began. Beer has long been thought to be less affected by downturns than other consumer purchases, but the severity of current conditions has called into question the most cherished of marketing assumptions. “Now more than ever, you need to give consumers a reason why you’re worth paying more for,” said Christian McMahan, chief marketing officer at Heineken USA in White Plains, a division of the Dutch brewer
Burger King has assigned the creative responsibilities for the Hispanic portion of the business to Austin based LatinWorks. Hispanic media planning and buying responsibilities have been assigned to Chicago based Tapestry. The accounts are worth a purported $35 million.
