  • Moletta – Chile

The Chilean sock manufacturer Moletta chosed The Family agency “to generate innovation and leadership in the industry for its products” as commented the chief creative and founding partner of the agency, Miguel Angel Barahona.

  • Club Med – Brazil

NBS, the Brazilian agency headed by Cyd Alvarez, will be in charge of the development comprehensive communication of hotel chain Club Med. The account budget is estimated at 4.5 billion reais.

  • Kellogg's

Following a worldwide procurement pitch in which 10 providers participated, the cereal company Kellogg has appointed specialist Brand Learning to lead a marketing capability project aimed at embedding common working processes across Kellogg's territories.

Initially, Brand Learning will develop and lead "masterclasses" for Kellogg's portfolio directors, 100 senior marketers who are each responsible for a group of brands. The plan will subsequently be expanded to the entire marketing force.

  • Heineken

Heineken is rolling out globally a series of ads, created by Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam, centred on a character who effortlessly navigates his way through social situations. Cyril Charzat, senior global brand director for Heineken, said the multimillion-pound push would ‘project the brand’s premiumness and exclusivity’. The new campaign uses the line “‘Open your world’.

  • Casa José Cuervo- México

Mexico: Casa José Cuervo has chosen, after a pitch, agency BBDO to handle its account. BBDO will develop communication plans for Tequila Don Julio.

  • Fecovita- Argentina

Rombo Velox, the agency of Fecovita in Argentina, is now responsible for the planning and implementation of the summer activities for three brands, with differentiated strategies: Promotion with integrated actions to Zumuva ATL and BTL, consolidation of Toro Wines and positioning and brand development for Bivarietales line of Toro Viejo, with the addition of a new flavor.

  • Stone- Argentina

Colombo PressCommunication Argentina, the new consultancy agency of Daniel Colombo, has added Stone to its clients.

  • General Motors – Argentina

A business alliance between Google and GM Argentina, allows the company to make the launch of the first car with WiFi in the country: the Chevrolet Agile. This will be a limited edition of 200 units and will have WiFi connectivity provided by Movistar.

  • AC Hotels and Marriott International

The Spanish hotel group AC Hotels and Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) formally announced their joint venture to manage and franchise a new lodging co-brand across Europe and Latin America – "AC Hotels by Marriott."

At launch, over 90 existing AC Hotels in Spain, Italy and Portugal will be re-branded as AC Hotels by Marriott and enter into long term management or franchise agreements with the joint venture. Antonio Catalan, chairman and founder of AC Hotels said, "We see tremendous growth potential for AC Hotels by Marriott and will be aggressively pursuing development opportunities throughout Europe and Latin America."
