We took Census 2010 data and ranked the top 20 Hispanic markets, outside of the top 5 CA, NY, TX, FL and IL by Hispanic population growth.

According to the table below, Arizona, despite its immigration laws, is the clear leader with almost 600,000 more Hispanics counted between 2000 and 2010. It is followed by New Jersey, North Carolina and Georgia. These 3 states registered a growth of more than 400,000 Hispanics. They are followed by Pennsylvania, Nevada, Washington State and Colorado.

Marketers and agency executives of most of these states will be presenting at Portada’s upcoming Emerging Hispanic Markets Forum on Sept. 21 in New York City.
