The theme of the event is "Mexico 2012: What objectives do clients have and what media are they going to use to achieve them?" 2012: Global Advertising and Media Trends

Marcos Baer, Publisher of Portada will open the Forum talking about global trends he sees. He will then talk about the global Latin and panregional markets.

Marcos Baer has been Publisher of Portada since 2003. Between 1999 and 2003, Baer worked as Portfolio Manager for Swiss Re, mainly for Mexico. Previously, he had worked as Editor for the Wall Street Journal in Spanish.

The Mexican Advertising Market 2012

Carlos Vaca, CEO of BBDO Mexico, will talk about how he sees the Mexican Advertising and Media markets developing in 2012. He will also pay attention to what the Mexican marketing and media professional can contribute to the Advertising and Marketing World at large.

In this panel, major executives will talk about marketing and consumer trends and how they will be impacting Mexican 2012 advertising budgets. Special attention will be paid to the 2012 elections in Mexico as well as to the evolution of the Mexican economy.
