Netflix announced Wednesday that, beginning today, Netflix subscribers in Latin America, the UK and Ireland can instantly watch TV shows and movies on Windows Phones.
This development marks the latest effort by Netflix to expand its reach across mobile devices across the globe as fast as possible.
Netflix has also released an updated, international version of the Netflix App for Windows Phone, significantly increasing the number of devices supported by Netflix in Latin America, the UK and Ireland.
“With Netflix for Windows Phone, users in Latin America, the UK and Ireland can now enjoy TV shows and movies on the go,” said Greg Peters, vice president of product development at Netflix.
Netflix is now available on all Windows Phone devices, including those manufactured by HTC, LG, Nokia and Samsung.
