With regular “Comunicados de Prensa,” exclusive interviews with Hispanic Media, and a Spanish-language video produced by his son, Governor Romney minces no words about his intentions: “Quiero que los Latinos voten por mi.”

Romney has granted exclusive interviews to Univision, which have been disseminated across its various digital and broadcast properties. In addition, the director of ethnic media, Alex Burgos puts out various Hispanic-related press releases per week.

At present, the Romney campaign is the only Republican outfit with an active Hispanic strategy.
