Yahoo has appointed Michael Barrett as its executive vice-president and chief revenue officer as part of the search company’s ongoing senior management reshuffle.
Barratt will be responsible for Yahoo’s ad revenue from global operations and the regional heads of EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
He will assume the new role in early July and will be part of the senior executive team reporting to interim chief executive Ross Levinsohm.
Prior to joining Yahoo, Barrett worked at Google, managing the integration of Admeld which was acquired by the search giant in 2011. Prior to that, he was chief executive of Admeld from 2008.
