Holaciudad.com and local search provider Ya Sabe, Inc. are announcing a content and search collaboration agreement which commences immediately.

Holaciudad.com is a network of local Spanish-language web portals owned by ZGS Communications. YaSabe, which manages an enhanced database of 14 million U.S. businesses in Spanish and English, will power next-generation local search applications throughout the holaciudad.com network. including for markets such as Boston, El Paso, Fort Myers, Fresno, Hartford, Orlando, Philadelphia, Providence, San Antonio, Springfield, MA, Tampa, and Washington, DC. For Hispanic consumers in each city, Holaciudad.com now offers the ability to search for local businesses in Spanish.

Azim Tejani, Director at YaSabe.com, tells Portada that “joint monetization of the agreement is to be determined – however local businesses are already getting leads from holaciudad powered by yasabe.com.”

“There are 30 million Hispanic consumers online in the United States” said Eduardo Zavala, President of ZGS Communications. “YaSabe’s extensive and impressive content about local businesses and advanced search technology will enhance our user experience at holaciudad.com”

In addition to the HolaCiudad network, ZGS Communications owns or operates 13 Spanish-language television stations, representing the largest group of independent stations affiliated with the Telemundo television network, and 3 radio stations.
