Preparations for our Latin American Advertising and Media Summit, June 6-7, 2012 at the Perry South Beach in Miami, are in full gear. (Early Bird is expiring this Friday!, Register now!). Over the last few days we have added two blue chip marketers to an already impressive roster of speakers:

Coca Cola’s Mariano Moro will participate in a panel that goes right into the crux of the panregional advertising and media industry:  “ Miami 2012: Where do we go from here? Opportunities for the Panregional Advertising Marketplace". As new media and advertising regulations in some Latin American markets are changing the panregional advertising business, a creative content expert, a client, a media agency and a media owner will discuss how these changes are impacting their work and what opportunities and challenges they see going forward.  Carlos Gutierrez, Chief Growth Officer – Latin America and Caribbean at McCann Worldgroup will provide the view of the creative content expert. Panelists representing a media buying agency and a media owner will be announced soon.

Visa’s Martha Krawczyk
, will participate in a panel on Colombia which will explore the big opportunities that lie ahead in marketing to Colombians, now that the South American country  has been able to significantly reduce terrorist violence.

This year we are introducing an event before the Summit: The ”Latam Pay-TV Forum presented by Business Bureau”, a new initiative to bring Pay-TV researchers together in a transparent environment that fosters dialogue and cooperation to drive better and more consistent business decisions across the region.

Portada’s Latam Pay-TV Forum presented by Business Bureau will take place in the morning of June 6th, 2012 at the Perry South Beach Hotel in Miami Beach. The event can be attended independently or in combination with Portada’s 2012 Latam Advertising and Media Summit which takes place at the same venue in the afternoon of June 6th and 7th.
