Rimmel London has shifted its estimated $113m global advertising account from its incumbent of 14 years, JWT, to the New York-based fashion and luxury agency Laird + Partners.
Laird + Partners, which handles the majority of the ad business for Rimmel’s parent company Coty, won the account without a pitch. It had previously pitched against JWT in 2009 but was unsuccessful.
JWT was responsible for launching Rimmel in the US in 2000. The split comes after the departure of the company’s global marketing director, Isabelle Regis.
