YaSabe,a a local and mobile search provider for U.S. Hispanics announced today that Javier Saralegui will join the Board of Directors of YaSabe effective immediately. Saralegui will help to chart the strategic direction of the company and will be involved in matters related to sales and marketing and in forging relationships with strategic partners.
“YaSabe solves an important problem in the marketplace”, said Saralegui, “Hispanics are the fastest growing demographic online yet there is little or no relevant local information available online for Latinos in the US.”

Javier was previously the President and COO of Univision Online where he helped to launch and build Univision.com. Javier also currently sits on the Board of Directors of NuvoTV, a cable network reaching bi-cultural Latinos.
