ImpreMedia has named Liz Sarachek Blacker publisher of Vista Magazine, a bilingual magazine published 5 times a year with a circulation of 900,000. Blacker most recently served as senior vice president/digital sales for impreMedia Digital, and will continue in that capacity.

In her new role, Blacker will report to Monica Lozano, senior VP of publications for impreMedia and publisher and CEO of La Opinión. As publisher of Vista Magazine, now in its 25th year, Blacker will oversee the development of short and long-term sales initiatives, content strategies for print, digital and mobile, marketing, distribution and production and will manage the magazine’s sales and editorial staffs.

“This is a legacy brand that is well known and appreciated by the media community,” Blacker said in a statement. “Our goal is to ensure Vista provides best in breed content be it digital, print, mobile, customized client solutions, excellent customer service and metrics driven programs for our advertisers.”

Blacker has nearly 20 years’ experience launching new media properties, including Yahoo’s Hispanic Division, The Wall Street Journal Americas and Fortune Magazine Latin America.
