According to AOL 40 % of the site’s audience is now coming from outside the U.S. HuffPost Live will now focus on world coverage, including a daily hour-long look at the stories sparking conversations around the globe — featuring contributions from editors and reporters from HuffPost’s 7 (soon to be 10) international editions.

According to AllthingsD, the HuffPost Live has struck a partnership with the Berggruen Institute, a non-partisan “think and action tank” that has been founded by Nicholas Berggruen. Google’s executive chairman Eric Schmidt, who is part of the think tank, will join the editorial board of the WorldPost. WorldPost’s editor will be Nathan Gardels. Peter Goodman, the HuffPost’s executive business editor, will also expand his portfolio as the WorldPost’s global news editor.

Some of the global features will be “Global Gay Voices,”; “The Third Metric Around the World,” and “Your 15 Seconds,”.
