Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) and Efe have announced that they are launching a platform to distribute news content to television stations across Latin America. The content will be in the form of video clips. A decision has not yet been made whether the content will be distributed in raw form or pre-produced.
“The content will cover all areas of news including sports, entertainment and international news,” says Rafael Carranza, director of business development for Efe's Americas operation.
The content will also be made available to the U.S. Hispanic market mainly through digital channels such as Terra, Yahoo Telemundo, and AOL Latino.
