EFE, the leading Spanish-language news agency, and the fourth largest in the world, is launching its new turn-key solution “Llave en Mano” microsite program in conjunction with Alcance Media Group.

EFE, the Spanish-language news agency, fourth largest in the world, is launching its new turn-key solution “Llave en Mano” microsite program in conjunction with Alcance Media Group.  The program allows web publishers to incorporate the EFE newsfeed into their site while earning ad revenue from the Alcance ad network.

EFE employs a network of more than 3,000 journalists, comprising 60 nationalities and based 120 countries around the world.  In looking to increase its digital reach, EFE is expanding its ability to provide real-time, online news to a select group of publishers. In addition to EFE news, the participants in the Llave en Mano microsite program will also benefit from the ad campaigns run by Alcance Media Group.

Alcance Media Group is a Hispanic-focused ad network based in San Francisco, Califiornia, offering digital solutions for advertisers to reach Hispanics in the U.S., as well as Latin American companies reaching a broader U.S. market. 

The sites participating in the Llave en Mano program will have, in addition to the EFE newsfeed, advertising provided by Alcance, and the revenue that goes along with it.

Portada: Do you have the exclusive for the news widget among ad-networks? 

Chris Stanley: "It is pretty much for new websites to use their news feeds, however we are the U.S. provider of advertising for the sites using the widget."

Portada: Is this deal for USH or also for Latam?

Chris Stanley: "We have access to both USH and Latam traffic as the sites that sign up are from all over (US and International)"

Portada: Where do you see the advantage for this deal?

Chris Stanley: "This is a great partnership for Alcance Media Group and EFE as it combines the forces of a top news agency and the capabilities of our advertising network to assist publishers with revenue generation and extend the reach for Advertisers to the US Hispanic as well as Latin America and beyond.  Advertisers and agencies can now reach readers of these publications and EFE's news feeds by contacting one source."
