Dieste announced today that Greg Knipp has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the organization. Mr. Knipp, who officially starts in the Dallas-based agency on December 1, 2010, is already actively transitioning into his new post.  
 
Greg Knipp, who has more than 20 years of marketing experience in the US and Latin America, is joining Dieste from sister agency Latinworks where he has served as Managing Director since beginning of 2008. Prior to Latinworks, he was President of Cultura, a Hispanic hot-shop until it was merged with Latinworks in 2008.  Before joining the family, Knipp had an accomplished international career in advertising, working with multinational agency Leo Burnett – both in the USA and Latin America – on global brands such as P&G and Kellogg’s. Mr. Knipp is also a Kellogg MBA.
 
Knipp also brings client-side experience to his job, having spent time in leadership roles at Frito Lay Interestingly, the relationship between Greg and Dieste started when he was a client of the agency, leading Hispanic marketing for Frito Lay. He is a business-savvy executive that understands all the nuances of the multicultural market, its challenges, and rapid changes.
