Impremedia just announced that it has elected Monica Lozano as it’s new CEO. You read it in Portada first more than two weeks ago.
Lozano’s appointment is happening two weeks after Impremedia laid off 12 employees including Alberto Vourvoulias-Bush, Corporate Executive Editor, Arturo Duran, CEO of Impremedia Digital and Director of Marketing Services David Pastore.
According to the press release communicating Lozano’s appointment The ImpreMedia Board of Directors has elected Monica C. Lozano as chief executive officer of the company. She will assume the office immediately. "Monica's deep experience in media, her broad relationships among key stakeholder groups, and her demonstrated ability to understand the dynamics of our industry and constructively lead an organization towards new growth opportunities made her the best person for the position," said Steve Rader, of Clarity Partners. The search committee considered both internal and external candidates and included board members Rader, Bruce Eatroff, Jose Lozano and interim CEO, Michael Wortsman who will now become Chairman of the Board.
