Victorio Lorandi, is the new VP of Sales for Mexico, U.S. Hispanic and Panregional at Redmas.  Lorandi until recently worked at Batanga. 

Engel Fonseca has left HarrenMedia to create a new company called Media Science. “I am now focused on Media Science, a research and digital media platform based on NeuroScience principles”, Fonseca tells Portada. Media Science offers white label services to digital agencies.

AIM Media Texas, LLC has appointed Lilia Castillo Jones as publisher at the Valley Morning Star, effective Oct. 29. In this new role, Jones will be responsible for the Valley Morning Star serving Harlingen and surrounding communities as well as the weekly Coastal Current serving South Padre Island, Port Isabel and nearby towns. Jones served as senior vice president, sales and marketing at the San Antonio Express-News/MySA.com from January 2006 to July 2012.  She joined the newspaper in December 2003 as display advertising director. While in San Antonio, Jones played a critical role in the development and launch of Conexion, a weekly Hispanic bilingual publication.  Along with her other duties and responsibilities, she also served as general manager at Conexion overseeing the content, sales, marketing and distribution of the product.  Her responsibilities also included all sales and marketing for MySA.com.In conjunction with the appointment of Jones, Daniel Cavazos will return full-time to his role as publisher at The Brownsville Herald and El Nuevo Heraldo.

announced that it has appointed Mitch Kline as its new Vice President of Radio Sales. In this role, Mitch will be leading TargetSpot’s Internet Radio advertising sales initiatives focused on Broadcast budgets. He will oversee a national team of sellers dedicated to working with radio advertisers as they incorporate Digital Audio into their media strategy, and he will join TargetSpot’s senior executive team.  Kline was most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Director of Sales for Univision Radio. There, he oversaw all of Univision’s Network, National Spot, and Local sales. Mitch supervised 270 sellers and 100 managers across the country and was a contributor to several of the company’s key strategic initiatives.

Hispanic public relations agency VPE appointed Veronica Rodriguez as account director in the New York City office, following a recent expansion.
Ms. Rodriguez has served as a senior public relations and social media manager with some of the leading Hispanic advertising and PR agencies based in New York. Ms. Rodriguez has managed major national campaigns for national brands, and has also overseen corporate PR initiatives in previous positions at Universal Motown Music Group and Atari. She will be responsible for overseeing the agency's Verizon Wireless account and building VPE's East Coast presence.
