MediaCom Regional LatAm CEO Mariano Roman is leaving the company. Mariano Roman has led the Mexico office and acted as Regional CEO over the past few years.  

David Byles, CEO of GroupM’s LatAm region said that “Both Stephen Allan and myself recognize the importance of this region for MediaCom, whose business has tripled over the past 5 years”.

MediaCom also announced promotions in the LatAm team: Annetta Cembrano, leader of the recently re-launched operation in Chile, has been appointed COO for the region. Likewise, Argentina’s Sebastián Civit and Miami’s Juan González will assume additional responsibilities in their current roles.

Maribel Viteri was appointed as Latin American Marketing Director at Molson Coors. She will start her new job in August. Currently Viteri is the International Marketing Director at Flor de Caña.

Marian Gómez Campoy has been named Marketing & Communication Director at Zitro. She will be in charge of the European and Latin American markets. Campoy will be based at Buenos Aires, Argentina and will be responsible for the internal communication, PR, branding, advertising and new products launches.

DLB Group has created a new Global Department of Corporate Relations and Business Development. Adriana Navarro Pi, ex Global Business Director will be in charge of the new department. Navarro Pi will be responsible for the global communications of the agency and among her new tasks she will coordinate the Spain, US and Latin American´s branches.

Guillermo Abud is the new VP Digital Director for MV42 at MediaVest in New York until recently he worked as Senior Director at Starcom Mediavest Latin America in Mexico City.

AOL’s head of global sales Jeff Levick is to depart the company following a management shake-up.  The reshuffle, which also sees head of public relations Lauren Hurvitz and human resources head Kathy Andreasen also depart, will see the company reorganise its sales staff and Advertising.com into a combined division to be run by chief revenue officer Ned Brody. Brody previously led Advertising.com and will now be responsible for all of AOL’s sales operations including online properties HuffingtonPost.com and AOL.com.
