Juan Pablo Suarez, has been hired as Business Development Director at Media Brands Miami. Until recently Suarez worked in US Media Consulting as Ad-Sales Manager for print in Latin America. Suarez launched US Media Consulting’s Print Media Division in 2007.

Tatiana Koike has been prometed to Ad Sales Director at US Media Consulting. She has been with US Media Consulting for 3 years where she worked as Senior Ad Sales Manager for the Print Division. In addition, she has been responsible to spearhead US Media Consulting's Brazilian and Argentine clients.

Brightstar Corp., a global company in services and solutions for the wireless industry based in Miami, has announced the appointment of former Motorola executive Oscar Rojas as president of the company's Latin America region. Rojas will be responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations for Brightstar's 20 countries in Latin America plus the Caribbean.

Katherine Corcoran, The Associated Press' enterprise editor for Latin America and the Caribbean, has been named chief of bureau for Mexico and Central America for the news cooperative. Also Bradley Brooks, the AP's correspondent in Rio de Janeiro since 2008, has been named chief of bureau for Brazil.

Marc Zimet has been promoted to VP of music programming and talent relations for MTV Latin America and Tr3s. Zimet will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the pan-regional music strategy for MTV and VH1 Latin America, as well as the music strategy for Tr3s: MTV, Música y Más in the U.S.

Opel, company owned by General Motors Spain, has announced the hiring of Paula Bartolomé as new Marketing Manager. Bartolomé´s previous work was at Saab. Also Jonathan Akeroyd, Head of Fleet Operations, Remarketing and Used Vehicles Residual Value, has been promoted to Sales Manager.

Mindshare Argentina, part of the WPP group, has appointed Martín Lammardo as Client Leader. Lammardo will be in charge of the Strategic Planning for his clients, as well as the coordination of the Research, Entertainment and Digital Departments.

Daniel Pacheco has been named strategic planning director for JWT Venezuela, after Vicente Irazabal´s relocation to Costa Rica.
