Jose Carlos De Mier, has accepted the position of PR Manager Audi Latin America. He started in his new position on March 15th, 2011. In this position he reports to Diego Ramos, Vice President Audi Latin America, and Ulrich Schwarze, Marketing & PR Manager Audi Latin America. "This change obeys to a new strategy regarding all PR activities. New team priority will be to reorganize the Audi Latin Public Relations with the goal to achieve aqualitative and quantitative improvement in terms of planning, execution and monitoring of PR for the region". VP Diego Ramos said Jose Carlos has been working for more than 20 years in the media industry. Prior to joining Audi, Jose Carlos worked in different  managing positions for Televisa in USA and México. He started in the region as International Managing Directorfor Televisa Publishing in Miami launching magazines and websites in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and US Hispanic Market and continued as General Manager and Board Member of Editorial Televisa in Mexico City. Mediacom is Audi Latin America's media agency, while Brand Thread is its creative agency.

Irma Gutierrez has been named Commercial Director at LID Editores, Mexico. Gutierrez has previously worked for Merca20. LID Editores specializes in books about leadership for entrepreneurs.

comScore now has a local presence in South Florida headed by Joanna Mainetto. Prior to her move to Miami, Ms. Mainetto was with comScore in their New York office. Ms. Mainetto’s local presence in South Florida will better help comScore serve Latam, USHispanic, as well as Puerto Rico/Caribbean clients.

Procter & Gamble has appointed IIonka Laviz, associate director for its feminine care brand Always, to its top global digital marketing role. Laviz replaces Lucas Watson as marketing director, digital brand-building strategy and global e-commerce. She will report jointly to Marc Pritchard, global brand-building officer and Alex Tosolini, vice-president, global e-commerce in the US. Watson is moving to a marketing director role in P&G's personal healthcare global business unit, based in Panama.

Marisol Mosquera and Diana Restrepo join Madison Ave. Media's Latin American division. Mosquera will be in charge of providing highly targeted digital media campaigns. Diana Restrepo is in charge of sales and marketing strengths for the Mobile S.A. Division where she provides account services to Central and South American clients.

Digital media veteran Juan Jose Duran is joining Google – YouTube. Duran started last Monday as Strategic Development Partnership Manager for YouTube in the U.S. Hispanic market. He is leaving Televisa after 7 years to work on Google’s Hispanic initiatives. Duran will be working closely with Mark Lopez, Head of U.S. Hispanic Audience.

Reckitt Benckiser has appointed Heather Allen as executive vice-president for category development, taking the post vacated by Rakesh Kapoor, who was recently appointed chief executive designate.

Young & Rubicam creative director Guillermo Vega is moving to Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo as executive creative director. The Buenos Aires native joins ecd Icaro Doria and managing director André Gustavo Soares on the executive management team at the independent agency’s eighth office, which opened late last year. At Y&R NY, Vega was regional cd for Latin America, global cd on Dell and Bacardi and group cd on Virgin Atlantic, MTV, VH1 and Land Rover. He also served on the global creative board of the WPP agency. Before moving to Y&R NY, he was ecd at the agency’s Buenos Aires office.
