Hilda Garcia, is impreMedia's new News Director. She will be in charge of news content across the company's digital and print platforms. Based in New York, she will report to Corporate Executive Editor Alberto Vourvoulias-Bush. “I am very pleased of being working with the Impremedia group. Juan Jose Nuñez, COO of Starmedia in the U.S and Latin America, left his position at the U.S Hispanic and Latin American Internet company. There will not be a replacement for his position .Nuñez contributed substantially to the growth of Starmedia in the U.S and Latin America. Juan Jose sent us the following e-mail. Casanova Pendrill announced the addition of several new team members to its Costa Mesa headquarters.
Karla Acevedo joins Casanova from McCann Mexico as Account Director. Karla brings to Casanova extensive experience in the CPG and financial services categories.
Leticia Tovar joined Casanova as Account Supervisor, and Anel Macias (formerly of Anita Santiago Advertising) as Senior Account Executive.
Joining Casanova's media team are: Fermin Cervantes as Media Planner (from Team One) and Crystal Medina , a recent graduate of Pepperdine University as Media Analyst.
The Strategic Planning team has also expanded with the addition of Michelle Bregozzo, fresh from San Diego State University.
The Agency's creative team also expanded with the addition of Andres Munera as Senior Art Director, from Zubi Advertising, earlier this year.
And Kathy Diaz, who joined the agency in 2009 as Senior Media Planner was promoted to Media Planning Supervisor.
Fernando Diaz is Hoy Chicago’s new Managing Editor. Alejandro Escalona, the previous Managing Editor, resigned to pursue other interests. Before joining Hoy, Fernando was ChicagoNow's, owned by Tribune Media Group, community manager for news and opinion, where he contributed to the site's success by creating dynamic content as well as recruiting a diverse base of bloggers; including crafting a post that generated 2.3 million page views.

Dallas-based Dieste Inc. has named Elizabeth Fauerso as the new Executive Director of Planning. She assumes her new duties immediately, coordinating the Planning Department and integrating into the Executive Board of the agency. Since she joined the agency in 2007, Elizabeth has been leading the charge to evolve consumer and category intelligence for Dieste clients such as AT&T, HP, Southwest Airlines and Levi’s among others.
