Universal Music Nashville has promoted Jason Owen to Senior Vice President of Artist Development and Marketing for its MCA and Mercury Nashville labels, it was announced today by Luke Lewis, Chairman of Universal Music Nashville.
HipCricket has named mobile marketing executive Scott Debson Vice President of Brand Solutions. Debson has worked on more than 200 mobile marketing and content campaigns in the United States and Europe for clients including Warner Music Group, adidas and Paramount Pictures, among others.
MyScreen Mobile Inc, announced the appointment of Maurizio Angelone as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, effective May 1st 2009. Mr. Angelone will be responsible for global operations and the strategic direction of MyScreen as it launches its innovative patent-pending mobile advertising solution with mobile carriers, media, and advertising partners globally. Telemundo promoted Derek Bond to Senior Executive Vice President of Telemundo Studios, Production and Broadcast Operations. The announcement was made by Don Browne, President, Telemundo, to whom Bond will continue to report. Most recently, Bond was Executive Vice President of Telemundo Studios and Broadcast Operations. He will continue to oversee productions at Telemundo Studios, where he has supervised more than 30 novelas from the U.S., Colombia and Mexico.
