Loraine Lederman was appointed editor for 7 Dias Diario Digital. Starting on September 1st several changes were made in the editorial company TV Net Productions Inc., the first step was the change of name to TV Net Media Group which will assemble several initiatives in the communications media. TV Net Media Group is now the editorial company of the newspaper 7DIAS and the magazines LA GUIA, Gulf, Tampa Bay and Orlando, successful publications distributed in the West and Central Florida Areas. As a core piece of this editorial project, the Internet Division was organized in January providing information in its portals revistalaguia.com and 7dias.us.

Pappas Telecasting announced the appointment of Alan Weintraub to the position of Director of National Sales — Chicago, effective immediately. In his new position, he is responsible for national sales in the Midwest region for Pappas' general market and Azteca America stations, sales of special event programming, new business development, and sales for all Pappas Web sites. Mr. Weintraub will report to Gerald Linehan, Senior Vice President, National Spot Sales of Pappas Telecasting Companies' Television Station Group.

Carlos Verdecia– formerly editor-in-chief of Hispanic(s) Magazine and People en Espanol– was named editor in chief of Tiempos del Mundo. Verdecia cites improving content and becoming ever more indispensable to its readers as goals for the months and years ahead: “We are not looking to be all things to all people, but rather to have something for everyone.” In line with this goal, the paper seeks to diversify content to include more travel, automotive, food, and health-related stories.
