Editorial Televisa announced the appointment of Dr. Aliza Lifshitz, as Prevention en Español's new Executive Publisher. As a media personality across different platforms, Dr. Lifshitz will help create the most relevant magazine in this category for the U.S. Hispanic market as well as act as a magazine promoter in addition to becoming an important and credible link for the magazine to the market.

The National Association of Hispanic Publications, Inc. (NAHP) announced the appointment of Alfred Ramirez as Interim Executive Director. During his tenure as Interim Executive Director, Mr. Ramirez will lead a national search for new NAHP leadership to drive its advertising sales in Hispanic print media, spearhead initiatives to increase membership, develop, and implement key programs of the NAHP.

After two years in Spanish-language publishing, Doug Knight retired as CEO of ImpreMedia, publisher of La Opinión, el diario/La Prensa and La Raza. As of September 1, Doug Paton is the new CEO of Impremedia. Paton was Impremedia's president and COO.

The New America Alliance (NAA) has hired Regina Montoya as its new Chief Executive Officer. In this capacity, Montoya will develop strategic and tactical plans to fulfill NAA's mission of promoting the advancement of the American Latino community with a focus on economic and political empowerment.

P. Wayne Mulling is the new vice president of network sales and training of HYP Network. Hispanic Yellow Pages (HYP) Network is an independent publisher of Spanish-language yellow page directories.
