Online games are hot. Users love them and so do advertisers who love the very high engagement of users who play them. Knowing this, Yahoo! today announced an extended partnership with social games company King.com. The deal  provides Yahoo!'s Latin  consumers in seven countries with access to dozens of social tournament games within Yahoo! Juegos. The full portfolio of King.com's games appears on Yahoo!'s sites in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, and Yahoo! en Espanol in the U.S..

Online publishers often are able to sell advertising in online games environments at CPMs (cost per thousand impressions) higher than $30 CPM compared to lower CPMs for display and search advertising.

"This new partnership will bring classic and original casual social games experiences to one of the most populous and fastest growing regions around the globe. As access to broadband and mobile devices dramatically expands in these countries, online games will remain one of its highest growth areas," said Riccardo Zacconi, CEO, King.com. "We are excited to extend our longstanding partnership to a new, active market with such a key player."
