Allrecipes.com, the site with more than 365 million annual visits, today announced the launch of Allrecipes.com.mx, a Spanish-language social site for Mexican home cooks. Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Spanish-speaking cooks have a new resource for finding and sharing authentic Mexican recipes.
Allrecipes.com.mx offers a recipe site and community where Spanish-speaking home cooks can connect. According to the 2007 American Community Survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, Spanish is the first or second language of 45 million Hispanics living in the United States (To read about the language preferences of US. "We are pleased to provide Allrecipes.com.mx to the Spanish-speaking community in the U.S. and Mexico," said Patricia Lee Smith, international vice president at Allrecipes. "With 15 international sites now serving 25 countries, our goal is to provide home cooks and consumer product marketers worldwide with sites that deliver innovative and convenient solutions."
