In her role as Manager, Social & Digital Media of Northgate Gonzalez Market, Lizette is responsible for the company’s digital and media properties for California’s premier Latino-themed grocery chains. Lizette has been in the business since birth and recalls visiting the stores with her father at a young age. As a member of the third generation, she is proud to be a member of the family and of the community. Lizette began her career in 2008 out of one of the Anaheim stores as a box girl. She quickly went through the ranks and became Front End Supervisor before transferring to the marketing department at Northgate Market in 2010. She is responsible for growing the largest social media and digital footprint in the U.S. Hispanic Grocer sector. Last year, she was a part of the Superbowl Hack that received recognition from numerous publications including Ad Week. Lizette is a graduate of the USC Food Industry Management Program where her team won their capstone project and presented at the Western Association of Food Chains in 2016. She holds a B.S. in Business Management from Pepperdine University and is currently going to school to receive her master’s in business administration with a concentration in Marketing from Pepperdine University.
