In addition, Zoomin.TV has hired: Matt J. Slan as VP Sales LA, Tina Salem as Advertising Sales at LA and Haydee Pabon as Business Development Manager at Miami.

image1.PNGHaydee Pabon, a new addition to the Zoomin.TV team in Miami, is an International Businesses  MBA graduate with a Marketing certificate from Nova Southeastern University.She is a dynamic and a confident professional with strong background in marketing, advertising, television distribution, digital content, programming, acquisitions and international sales.With excellent public relations skills she has being able to maintain and create new connections with important clients and global companies, leading to considerable sales in Eastern and Western Europe, Latin America, US Hispanic and the Middle East Countries.With much enthusiasm and great energy she is looking forward in starting as the new Business Development and Publisher Manager for Zoomin.tv in the Miami office.

mattslan1Matt J. Slan has been hired by  Zoomin.TV. He is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. His responsibilities at Zoomin.TV will include Sales and Business Development. Over the past nine years, he has worked at Fox News Digital, BrightRoll (a video ad network), and AOL.

She officially started on June 8th to work closely with Matt Slan in developing advertising partnerships with agencies and brands in the West and Midwest.Over the past ten years, she has worked at Fox, Viacom, NBC Universal and most recently at AOL (with Matt Slan).

descarga (3)Ernest Bromley, check out our interview today with him, one of the “godfathers” of Hispanic marketing is taking a new turn. Set on earning his PhD in consumer behavior, he’s closing the doors to the San Antonio based agency Bromley Communications. The agency’s current clients will likely migrate to other Publicis Groupe companies, Bromley’s parent company. All efforts will be made to offer agency personnel employment opportunities with Publicis Groupe. A farewell party and celebration of the legacy will take place at Bromley’s downtown San Antonio office later this month.

ERFVcspo_400x400iHeartMedia has announced its new Hispanic Brand Management team. The team, which will be led by Ricardo “Gonzo” Otero as the new Hispanic Brand Manager, includes Ray Hernandez and Raymond Torres as Brand Coordinators.Otero, Hernandez and Torres will also develop Hispanic-specific contest opportunities as well as be heavily involved in the planning and execution of the second annual “iHEARTRADIO Fiesta Latina” this Fall.

He will report directly to Isaac Lee, president of News and Digital for UCI and CEO of Fusion.From his new position, Summa will spearhead the exploration and development of innovative journalistic tools, models and narratives, experimenting with new platforms and storytelling formats to produce high-impact, quality reporting aimed at increasing the engagement of Univision News’ existing audience and broadening the division’s reach of tech-savvy news consumers. To that end he will also work closely with Fusion, the multi-platform media company that serves a young, diverse and inclusive millennial generation across its television and digital platforms (Fusion.net). Fusion is an ABC-Univision joint venture.Prior to this appointment, Summa was vice president of News Partnerships for Univision News.Before joining Univision in 2012, Summa was head of the CBS News Investigative Unit, where under his leadership, his team of investigative reporters and producers received the Emmy® Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism for three consecutive years. Previously, Summa spent 15 years as a producer for ABC News and Peter Jennings Productions. Summa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Eduardo Pelleissone is appointed EVP of Global Operations. In this role, Mr. Pelleissone will have direct accountability for the Company’s supply chain, quality, procurement and operations functions in North America and globally. Mr. Pelleissone joined Heinz in July 2013 as Head of Operations.

Francisco Sa is appointed Zone President of Latin America. Mr. Sa joined Heinz in June 2014 as Zone President of Heinz Latin America. Sa served as Zone President for AB InBev’s Latin America South business from 2012 to 2014.

descarga (5)George Zoghbi is appointed Chief Operating Officer of U.S. commercial business. In his role, Mr. Zoghbi will lead the Company’s more than $19 billion U.S. business comprised of five commercial business units. Zoghbi has been COO at Kraft since February 2015. Zoghbi joined Kraft in 2007 as Vice President and Area Director of Australia and New Zealand.

descarga (7)Sharon Ryan, Bay Area News Group publisher, is now also executive vice president for Digital First Media, with oversight of 31 daily and 40 weekly publications in California, the San Jose Mercury News reports. The move follows Steve Rossi’s advancement to CEO of Denver-based Digital First. Ryan had been president and publisher of BANG since February 2014. She joined the company as chief financial officer of the California Newspapers Partnership in 2007.

Mr.Mackay had previously served as VP/General Manager of WLEY-FM, the SBS owned and operated FM outlet serving the Chicago market.In his new capacity, Mr. Mackay will oversee the revenue efforts at AIRE Radio Networks, the syndication and selling platform comprised of over 100 top Spanish-language radio stations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. In addition, Mr. Mackay will direct all national spot sales for the major-market SBS radio outlets in coordination with McGavren, the Company’s national sales representative.

Matathia most recently served as Director of Marketing Communications for Hyundai Motor America leading the company’s advertising, paid media and social media strategies.The appointment is the first senior leadership addition since Matt Woehrmann was appointed CEO in early June.Prior to leading award-winning work for Hyundai, Matathia worked at GSD&M advertising in Austin, Texas, where he served as senior vice president and chief strategist, working across the agency’s client roster. He held senior strategic and account leadership roles for the BMW business in the U.S. and globally.Matathia started his career at TBWA\Chiat\Day Amsterdam as a strategic planner on Nissan. He worked on the integrated brand team during the AOL Time Warner merger and worked in the Hispanic market with Univision to help oversee their first-ever branding effort to the U.S. Hispanic consumer.

RCL Benziger welcomes its new Director of Latino Research and Development, Ken Johnson-Mondragon. He will begin work with RCL Benziger on July 13 and report to Anne Battes, Publisher, focusing on research and product development for the Latino community.Founded in 1792, RCL Benziger is one the oldest publishers of Catholic educational materials and faith formation resources in the United States.
