Changing Places: Kevin Reilly, David Cooperstein,George Bedenheimer…

Monica Lozano is leaving impreMedia after 30 years at its leadership (including her tenure at leading positions at Los Angeles’ La Opinion). Francisco Seghezzo, will become CEO of impreMedia as of June 1st. Lozano will remain involved as Chair of the Board of impreMedia’s parent company, US Hispanic Media Inc.


krKevin Reilly will leave his position as entertainment chairman at Fox, effective at the end of June. He joined Fox in 2007 as entertainment president, and was then named to his current post in 2012. Prior to Fox, he was entertainment president at NBC from 2004 to 2007 and  served as entertainment president of cable network FX and as president of Brad Grey Television. Until a successor is named, all senior executives on Reilly’s programming team will report to Peter Rice, chairman and CEO of Fox Networks Group.

dc David Cooperstein is joining Simulmedia, the audience-targeted television advertising company, as Chief Marketing Officer. He has been Vice President, Practice Leader serving CMOs at Forrester Research (Cambridge) since July 2009. He replaces Lindsay Jurist-Rosner who left to start her own web business.Mr. Cooperstein  led the CMO research practice at Forrester Research for five years, and had previously led their Telecom and Retail industry practices. He was also CMO of Burst Media (Boston) and led market analysis for the international division of Northwest Airlines. He holds has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in Consumer Economics.

Bodenheimer2Currently executive chairman of ESPN George Bedenheimer, is ending his 33-year career at the end of May. He served as ESPN president from 1998-2012, before ceding the title to John Skipper. He also was cochairman of Disney Media Networks from April 2004 to December 2011. Bodenheimer joined ESPN in 1981 and has been climbing ladder since then. He was named senior VP of sales and marketing at ESPN in 1995, before being promoted to president in 1998.

pPablo Buffagni is leaving Grupo Gallegos after working as chief creative officer of the agency for two years. He joined the agency in 2012. Over the next few days, the Grupo Gallegos is expected to announce how the creative department be structured from now on. There are still no details on Buffagni´s new project.


Havas Worldwide Chicago announced  that Joy Schwartz is taking on the new role of President, Performance Marketing, North America. Schwartz, has served as Co-President at Havas Worldwide’s Chicago agency since 2009. In her new role, he will be responsible for building and advancing the performance marketing discipline across Havas Worldwide North America, and identify new areas of growth and innovation . She will report to Havas Worldwide Global CEO Andrew Benett.

marobella_havasPaul Marobella has been named President, Havas Chicago Group.He will be taking on additional responsibility for the leadership and operations of the Chicago agency as well as Havas Chicago Group, including Havas Discovery, Havas Impact, Palm + Havas Chicago and Havas Latino. Marobella previously served as Havas WW Chicago’s Chief Digital Officer and functional lead for data and CRM for Havas WW North America.


alanDiscovery Networks Latin America / U.S. Hispanic (DLA / USH) has promoted Allan Navarrete to executive vice president and general manager for Mexico, Colombia and Central America. From Mexico City offices, the executive will continue to report directly to Enrique R. Martinez, president and general manager for DLA / USH and Canada. Navarrete began his career at Discovery in 1995. In 2005, he moved to of Discovery Communications headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, to become distribution and marketing vice president for Discovery Networks U.S. Hispanic. He also worked for NBC Universal International Television Distribution. In 2010, he rejoined DLA-USH as executive vice president and general manager for Mexico.
