reVolver Podcasts, a multicultural audio on-demand content creator and distributor in the U.S.,  appointed Joe Uva as non-executive chairman of the board to lead the company’s managers on all governance matters, and to help the company with its strategy and business development. Uva is president of Gull Point Advisors, a consultancy specializing in advising media and technology companies. He has nearly 12 years of experience as a C-suite executive with Telemundo, Univision Communications Inc. and OMD Worldwide. He also held executive leadership positions at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. He served on the boards of directors of Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc. (NASDAQ: DNKN), TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO), Univision Communications Inc. and Omnicom Media Group.

Keith Turner is stepping down as president of advertising sales and marketing at Univision Communications at the end of this year. He has been with Univision since 2012. Prior to that, he was senior VP of media sales and sponsorship at the NFL and before that spent more than 20 years in sales at NBC.

 

 

Ben Gogley and Eddie Austin have been promoted to senior vice president, media director at Innocean Worldwide Americas, as part of a reorganization of its media operations.The moves was made to enhance the strategic media development for the agency’s two largest clients, Hyundai and Kia.

 

 

 

Gogley will oversee all aspects of Hyundai Motor America and Genesis Motor America’s media. Gogley is a 13-year veteran at Innocean.

 

 

 

Austin will supervise and manage all aspects of Kia Motor America’s media.Previously serving as vice president, Kia Media Planning at Innocean, he will now oversee the strategic planning process for all of Kia’s media efforts.

 

 

 

SportBox Entertainment Group has announced that Ōs Group Principal and FIFA registered intermediary, Francisco Terreros, has joined the agency and will serve as Executive Vice President. Terreros brings more than 15 years of sport and entertainment industry experience to the firm.The Colombia native will lead the formation of a global soccer division, with talent representation and corporate and property marketing strategy as its core services. In addition, Terreros’ deep experience in multicultural marketing services will be added to the the agency’s overall client offering. He will be based out of the firm’s San Francisco office, with global jurisdiction and mandate.Terreros began his career in 2002 at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake CitySportBox is a global sport, entertainment and lifestyle agency. The business spans across North America, Europe and Asia. The company has offices in Miami, Toronto, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the IAB Technology Laboratory have hired former Lowenstein Sandler LLP Partner Michael Hahn to serve as both trade associations’ new Senior Vice President and General Counsel. In his previous role as Vice Chair of the Antitrust Practice Group at Lowenstein Sandler LLP, Hahn provided clients in the technology, advertising, pharmaceutical, consumer products, and higher education sectors with strategic counsel around competition, distribution, intellectual property and governance issues. Hahn is currently Co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Antitrust Law Committee.

 

 

Initiative, the Interpublic Group media agency, has appointed Christian Fedorczuk as president of its West Coast operations, based in Los Angeles. He will join the agency later in July and report to U.S. CEO Amy Armstrong. Fedorczuk was previously EVP/managing director, West Coast at Vizeum, part of Dentsu Aegis Network.

 

 

 

Alex Lea has joined Publicis Groupe as executive creative director for its Walmart account.Lea will be based out of Saatchi & Saatchi’s New York office and work closely with other agencies servicing Walmart as part of Publcis’ dedicated unit DeptW.He will report to Saatchi & Saatchi New York chief creative officer Javier Campopiano and Publicis New York chief creative officer Andy Bird.Lea comes from Grey New York.

 

Former Y&R CEO Tom Sebok, who most recently ran the global PepsiCo account at BBDO, has joined Meredith Xcelerated Marketing (MXM) as its chief client officer.He will report to president Georgine Anton.Sebok worked for several prominent New York agencies including Grey, BBDO and Y&R.

 

 

Michael Kaushansky has been promoted to president of Havas Group‘s customer relationship data management unit Havas Helia, North America. He will continue as executive VP and chief data officer at Havas North America. He joined Havas Media as executive VP and chief analytics officer in 2011.
