11889607_1012515118812824_2493742586000155553_nMundoMax, the U.S.-based Spanish-language broadcast network 100% owned and operated by media conglomerate RCN Television Group, and Meruelo Media, announced an enhanced partnership in Los Angeles and Houston. MundoMax will now assume sales and marketing responsibilities for KWHY-TV, Channel 22, the MundoMax flagship station in Los Angeles, along with KUVM-CD, Channel 34, which serves the Houston DMA, in cooperation with existing station management. For that matter, MundoMax will have a new sales structure headquartered in New York, with offices in Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami, effective September 1, 2015.

The sales structure is currently being led by Edward Jimenez, based in New York, alongside Tom Maney,also based in New York, who will remain in an advisory role for the near future. MundoMax wants to continue offering its clients best in class service and solutions for their marketing needs in the U.S. Hispanic market.

 

 

1850533Belia Jimenez has been appointed Vice President of Corporate Research at Univision Communications Inc. (UCI).Jimenez will continue to be based in New York and report to Kevin Conroy, chief strategy & data officer and president, Enterprise Development.Jimenez has spearheaded new research initiatives and has been instrumental in making UCI a smarter organization as a whole. In addition, she has assisted in the development of breakthrough findings and insights with UCI’s first corporate tracking study, in partnership with Edison Research. Jimenez has over 15-years of experience working in directorial roles for major media brands such as Viacom, Turner, IHeart Media and ABC.

 

descarga (1)Vanessa Ramírez-Ávila is the newscast’s anchor and executive producer for Telemundo Fresno newscast,, Media Moves reports.Prior to joining Telemundo 51, Vanessa worked as a reporter, producer and back-up news anchor for KFTV Univision 21 in Fresno from 2006 to 2014.

 

 

descargaVictoria Moll-Ramírez has started a new job as Segment Producer for “The Rundown with José Díaz-Balart” at MSNBC in New York City, Media Moves reports. In her new role, she’ll be researching, writing and working with correspondents on daily stories. Victoria comes from CNN, where she was Cross Platform Associate Producer until August 7.

 

 

descarga (1)Saatchi & Saatchi has appointted Justin Billingsley as worldwide chief operating officer, succeeding Chris Foster, who is moving to parent Publicis Groupe in the newly created role of senior VP-global clients.The move cements the professional relationship between Mr. Billingsley and Robert Senior, who officially succeeded Kevin Roberts as CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide at the start of the year.He will be based in London.His appointment follows a series of changes to the global leadership team, including the appointment of David Hackworthy as chief strategy officer and Jeff Geisler as chief marketing officer.
