Batista, who most recently led new business development for ESPN Multimedia Sales & Sponsorships, will be based in Variety’s Gotham offices where she will lead all of Variety Latino’s sales initiatives.Batista was at People en Espanol prior to her post at ESPN. Before that, she was the Advertising Sales Director for the number one Spanish Language Sports Publication ESPN Deportes La Revista where she led sales and new business sales nationally with key account strategies for over 4 years.

He will be based in Austin, reporting to Vice President and General Manager of Univision Austin Danny Lowry.Martínez most recently served as News and Operations Supervisor for KWEX 41 Univision San Antonio.Prior to his work for Univision San Antonio, Martínez served under numerous capacities at Univision Austin’s KAKW 62 from 2003 to 2014. During this time, he worked as news director, executive producer, and assignments director & producer.Martínez earned a Bachelor of Journalism & Broadcast News, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Radio, Television and Film at the University of Texas at Austin.

In her new role, Loris will now lead the programming efforts for all Univision Network news shows, including the three editions of its national newscast, “Noticiero Univision” (evening), “Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna” (late night) and “Noticiero Univision Fin de Semana” (weekend), the newsmagazines “Primer Impacto,” “Aquí y Ahora” and “Crónicas de Sábado” as well as the Sunday morning political show “Al Punto.” She will continue reporting to Daniel Coronell, president of Univision News.Loris joined the Univision family in 1988.

 

 

Telemundo announced the promotion of Angel Domenech to Vice President of Creative Strategy. He will oversee the strategic creative approach, development and execution of the network’s high profile launches and overall branding initiatives for Telemundo Network. Domenech will report to Aileen Angulo-Merciel, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Creative, Telemundo.Domenech joined Telemundo in 2007.
